Ronald Araujo return to training with the team on Saturday. But it is unclear whether the 25-year-old centre-back will be involve in Monday’s clash with Rayo Vallecano.

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, 25, returned to training on Saturday as Hansi Flick’s side prepare for Monday’s La Liga clash with Rayo Vallecano.

Araujo suffered a right ankle injury and was สนใจสมัคร? คลิกที่นี่เพื่อเริ่มต้น withdrawn in the 22nd minute of last week’s 4-1 win at Sevilla. He has missed training for the past two days, but the 25-year-old returned to training with the team-mates on Saturday, but it is unclear whether he will be available to play against Rayo Vallecano on Monday. 

Araújo, in turn, went on to limp out of proceedings, with his visual distress on the bench having given rise to fears surrounding a potentially lengthy incoming spell on the sidelines.

Ensuing tests, thankfully, confirmed that the 25-year-old had not suffered any sort of serious injury.

As allude to above, though, Araújo has nevertheless not yet been give the green light to return to training alongside the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Araujo is reportedly not fully fit and the Blaugrana are unwilling to take any chances with the player, with Flick expect to opt for Inigo Martinez to partner Pau Cubarsi at centre-back. 

Barcelona head into the match after having a rare free week so should be well rest and refresh for the visit of Inigo Perez’s side.
